*After Cameroon's Pre-World Cup friendlies, here is BraggsSports (Eyoh Talks Football) view of the Cameroonian National team*

Cameroon’s issue is not just a selection problem, it's a tactical problem too. All the decent teams have an idea of how to consistently get the ball into the final third so their attackers can do damage. We have zero idea what to do once we face a decent midblock.

Our starting XI was better than South Korea’s but we were not pressing anywhere near aggressively enough as a whole & that results is a lack of control in each phase of play so our game boils down to individual quality/moments.

If Mbeumo just had a bit more pace than he already has, just a bit, he'd basically be the left footed Vinicius Junior. But what he doesn't have in terms of an abundance of elite level pace, he has in intelligence.

I hope he eventually realizes that he is more of a Sané/Di Maria style winger. Technical security, comfort in possession, ability to initiate combination play, elite maturity in decision making. He’s an interior in a winger’s body.

*3 at the back at the world cup?*

Rigobert Song opting for a 3 at the back in Qatar would be an error of catastrophic proportions. In the last two games, Our wingbacks(Fai/Tolo) have not been aggressive enough when dealing as wingbacks who start higher than the typical fullback so they certainly won't be capable of dealing with a standard fullback.

Would be a demonstration of transitions after transitions vs teams like Brazil and Serbia. Can’t lie, if any team is being generous in that group it’ll be a point. Brazil won’t bother hanging down after two games. So it’ll be an expected low intense game but we’ll still get battered massively.

*New Long term Coach with vision of Grassroots player development?*

Honestly, if I was FECAFOOT, I'd be inquiring about Bielsa with an eye on a 5-years project after the World Cup. Do what EPL teams have always done but at scale. Also has serious marketability potential

Bielsa has the singular force of nature to forever change 237 football for the better. Imagine the search for the Kamer Busquets through to the grassroots of Bepanda and Nkoldongo, Nkwen, Molyko etc.
