Vincent Aboukabar who is still active has been the best Cameroon striker since Samuel Eto’o retired. Vincent Aboukabar’s thrilling 8 goals in the AFCON 2021 and 2 goals at the world cup 2022 means that he surpasses Cameroon legend Francoise Omam-Biyik and former wonder man Patrick Mboma with the later playing lesser matches for the Cameroon Indomitable Lions than Vincent Aboubakar.

9. Andre Kana-Biyik
Cameroon Career: 1985-1994

We cannot talk defensive football in Cameroon without mentioning Andre Kana-Biyik. The only defender to feature in goal-scorers chart, Man had aggresive defensive agenda like a lion which even saw him being sent off in Cameroon’s opening game of the 1990 World Cup, a game against Argentina that Cameroon won 1–0. His brother, François Omam-Biyik, scored the goal that defeated the South American giant.

Geremi Njitap hold the record for the second longest serving Cameroonian international with Samuel Eto’o just after Rigobert Song (137 appearance). The multipurpose and reliable Geremi Njitap was a feared beast who could adapt to every position in the field except goalkeeping. Mostly used as a Midfielder or right back, it’s surprising to see Njitap in this list. However being a master of dangerous crosses and a freekick maestro, no wonder he is in here. The former Real Madrid, Chelse and Newcastle United player played in three world cups for Cameroon and numerous AFCON.
Conclusion
Notable mentions are the likes of Kunde Emmanuel (1979-1992) with 17 goals, Tarl Toko Ekambi (2015 – Present) with 10 goals, Bonaventure Djonkep (1981 -1990) with 10 goals, Clinton N’jie (2014 -present) with 10 goals.
