Premier Soccer League oufit Cape Town City have confirmed the signing of Cameroon international Bertrand Junior Mani from Colombe Sportive of Dja and Lobo
Cape Town City have strengthened their squad with the signing of the Cameroon centre-forward on a free transfer. Cape Town City confirmed the news on their twitter page.
On their twitter handler, Cape Town City wrote “We are delighted to confirm the signing of Cameroon international forward Bertrand Junior Mani. Let’s welcome our new Citizen!💙”

Bertrand Junior Mani scored 20 goals (top scorer) during the 2021-2022 MTN Elite One season for his Cameroon base club Colombe Sportive and has already scored 3 times in just five MTN Elite One games so far this season.

He has always been around the corridors of the national selection. The forward represented Cameroon at the 2020 African Nations Championship and played three games as the intermediate Lions who finished fourth in the 16-team tourney.
Bertrand Mani was snubbed by Indomitable Lions coach Rigobert Song as he prefers the Cameroon Ballon D’or winning striker, Marou Souiabou and Ngom Jerome, a team mate of Bertrand Mani to make up his 26 man world cup squad (i.e, Only two local players called up to the world cup squad).

Bertrand Mani signs on a free transfer
With the Premier Soccer League (PSL) taking a break to pave way for the World Cup, Bertrand Mani will wait Until 30th of December to make his debut when the Cape Town City take on Royal AM at Cape Town Stadium.
Cape Town City are currently sitting 13th on the 16-team table with 13 points from 12 matches.
