Elite One Cameroon: PWD Bamenda signs 6 new players ahead of the 2021-2022 season
Former Elite One Champions (2019.2020), PWD of Bamenda has secured the signing of 6 new players to strengthen their squad after releasing/ sales of many other of the club’s veteran starters.
Ahead of the new season, the club would have been without a lot of experienced players should they have decided to stick with youngsters after the departure of veterans such as Goalkeeper Haschou Kerrido and defender Bong Joel who joined Canon Sport of Yaounde.
PWD Bamenda who will be contesting in the 2021 Cameroon cup finals against Astres of Douala did not hesitate to dive into the market and strengthen their squad.
The Abakwa Boys on their Facebook page PWD Social Football Club Bamenda announced the signing of their new recruits.
They wrote:
We’re pleased to announce that we have acquired the services of midfielder Nchindo Cletus from Foncha street FC. He penned a three_year deal with the Abakwa Boys.
PWD Social Football Club of Bamenda is delighted to announce that we have secured the services of midfielder Zanga Ulrich for the next two seasons. Zanga formerly represented LA Galaxy (MLS), and brings in lots of experience to our midfield.
We’re delighted to announce that 26_year_old center back Bahoken Cedric, has joined the Abakwa Boys on a two years deal.
We present to you our right back, Kouoh Dicka Olivier. He joined on a two years deal from Avion du Nkam. Dicka Comes with a chunk of experience to add to our defense.
Young shot stopper Ikong Pierre, joined the Blue and white from AS Futuro, on a two years deal.
Goalkeeper Bello Karim is one of the latest additions in our goal keeping compartment. He penned a two years deal from Olympique Biwong Bane.
