Done Deals: Barcelona ha sign Ferran Torres from Premier League giants Man City in a 5 years deal with a fee of €55m plus €10m adds-on.
Reports from various including well known journlaist and football transfer guru Fabrizio Romano confirms that Barcelona have completed the signing of Ferran Torres from Man City.
Fabrizio Romano’s statement on the deal goes by:
“Ferrán Torres deal now completed.
Barça will pay €55m guaranteed plus €10m in installments.
Man City accepted to sell only because Ferrán asked to move back to Spain.
Xavi was key as he called Ferrán many times and he only wanted him.

A statement form Manchester City board confirms the deal as well. “Ferran Torres has left Manchester City and completed a permanent move to Barcelona.
“The 21-year-old, who spent 16 months at the Etihad Stadium, scored 16 goals in 43 appearances for City in all competitions and he departs a Premier League and Carabao Cup winner, having helped the Club lift both trophies in his debut 2020-21 campaign.”

“Last season was his first time in a new country, but he adapted well. He always gave 100%, worked hard for the team and scored goals which helped us win trophies.

“Injury unfortunately prevented him from playing more games this season, but Ferran is a player we have all enjoyed working with and we wish him all the best at Barcelona and for the rest of his career.” Txiki Begiristain added.
