Not bad for a guy who played just for 4 years in the national team right? Of course yes. He most recently played for Belgian club Westerlo. Emmanuel Emenike made 37 appearances for the Nigerian Super Eagles.
9. Peter Odemwingie (2002–2014), 10 goals
Peter Odemwingie who announced his retirement from the Nigerian national team sits 9th with 10 goals. The 39 years old Nigerian has a whooping 63 caps for the Super Eagles.

8. Victor Moses (2012–Present), 10 goals
Victor Moses who started his youthful career in the England youth level has caped the super eagles 37 times scoring 12 times. Not bad for a winger. Moses currently has not been called up to national duties since 2018. he currently plays for Russian side Spartak Moscow on loan from Chelsea.
7. Victor Obinna (2005–2014), 12 goals
Victor Obinna played 48 times for the Nigerian super eagles scoring 12 goals. The 34 year old Nigerian superstar currently has no club.
6. Ahmed Musa (2010–Present), 13 goals
Musa who is currently the captain of the Super Eagles squad if called has 63 caps for the super eagles netting 13 times. He currently has no club since the start of the 2020-2021 season. If you are looking for a Nigerian who ever scored twice in a single world cup game, then it is Ahmed Musa against Argentina in 2014. Musa also netted in two consecutive world cups when he score twice again against Iceland in the 2018 world cup.
5. Julius Aghahowa (2000–2007), 14 goals
What can you make of a guy who scores 14 goals in just 32 caps. That’s wonderful. Julius Aghahowa only peaked his career when he played for Shakhtar Donetsk netting 32 times in 89 appearances for the Ukrainian side between 2000 and 2007. A reason for his wonderful stats during that same time with the super eagles.
4. Odion Ighalo (2015–2019), 16 goals
Ighalo played 35 times for the super eagles scoring 16 times in just 4 years. That is insane right? Odion Ighalo would be regarded as the best scoring Nigerian in striker in the last 21 years history of the game with regards to goals per game. Ighalo currently plays for Saudi Arabian side Al Shabab and has scored 3 times in 5 appearance.

Obafemi Akinwunmi Martins played 48 games while scoring 18 times for the super eagles. The 36 years old striker currently plays for Wuhan Zali in the Chinese Super League.
