The Nigerian Professional football League (NPFL) gets rescheduled for December 13 resumption date for 2020-2021 season
The Nigerian Professional Football League which was initially schedules to start on the 6th of December has been rescheduled for December 13.
The reasons for rescheduling the fixtures from 6th to 13th of December are still unknown.
However, some fans are still pleased with the idea that the League Management Company (LMC) tried by all means to resume the NPFL this year amidst the corona virus pandemic.
The NPFL which was suspended due to the COVID-19 pandemic will feature the same teams that competed in the 2019/2020 season as no team got relegated.

The first Match day will feature all 20 NPFL teams same as the the second Match day. Match day 1 will be played on 13/12/2020 as match day 2 will kickoff on the 16/12/2020.
