Juventus possible starting XI against Dynamo Kiev in the UEFA Champions League as Cristiano Ronaldo returns to squad training
Even with qualification for the knockout stage secured, Cristiano Ronaldo could be brought back in after being rested at the weekend.
Andrea Pirlo could rotate his starting XI slightly when take on Dynamo Kyiv in the Champions League.
After playing four matches in Group G, they have managed nine points, with just their lose against Barca left to blame for.
They are eight points clear of Dynamo and Ferencvaros meaning that qualification is already secured.
They can still top the group, but are relying on Barca slipping up against one or both of the group minnows, which seems unlikely.
Cristiano Ronaldo has already been rested in their draw against Benevento in Serie A during the weekend; A decision that saw Pirlo’s gamble backfire at him as they drew 1-1. So we expect Ronaldo to return here eager to add to his Champions League goal scoring tally. And hence helping the team.
Alvaro Morata was sent off in that Serie A game and will have a ban on the way, meaning he will probably start, too (Pirlo confirmed)
With Leonardo Bonucci now back fit, Pirlo may take this opportunity to revert to his preferred back three, with the Italian featuring alongside Matthijs de Ligt and Danilo.
Andrea Pirlo may consider rotating only the midfield the most.
Alex Sandro who plays as left back may be pushed to left midfield wing yo add more to the defence when need be.
Federico Bernardeschi is pushing for a start, possibly at the expense of Federico Chiesa.
